The HICATT program is a free informatics training program to help health care professionals advance care transformation for their patients. Led by the University of Texas School of Biomedical Informatics and funded by the Office of the National Coordinator, OFMQ has been selected to provide training in Oklahoma through this grant to any health care professional.
We have changed the completion requirements for non-CE certificate of completions!
Now instead of completing all of the 12-14 modules in a course track, you only have to complete 6 modules along with the associated assessments, and the exit survey. Also, for the Business Office and IT/IS tracks (Clinical Support and Provider if not seeking CE) there is no minimum grade for the assessments.
Who is eligible for training?
Any currently employed health care professionals working in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, accountable care organizations and more are invited to participate. This includes roles such as information technology/systems, medical assistants, nurses, physicians, office managers, and administrators.
What will I learn?
Training is offered in five areas including:
- Care Coordination and Interoperability of Health IT Systems
- Health Care Data Analytics
- Patient-Centered Care
- Population Health Management
- Value-Based Care Purchasing
